About

Jamie Smith is a London-born, Amsterdam-based photographer. His work maps the intersections of masculinity, capitalism, and self-construction, where identity is no longer discovered but assembled, bought, and sold. Examining the portrayal of the male other, he explores how consumer culture dictates not just how men are seen, but how they see themselves. Through body politics and cultural imagery, his work circles the uneasy space where otherness, gender and consumerism collide.
